Do you use shampoo on your newborn?

I was told to only bath him 1x- 2x a week and not to use soaps or lotions until 1 month. His scalp is flaky not sure if it's dandruff or dead skin.

We bathe our kids every day. It's part of our night time routine. I bathe baby with bedtime bath and then lotion her with bedtime lotion. Every morning I lotion her before I dress her. To each their own.

I used shampoo and lotion, my babies were NICU babies and the nurses used it on them so I continued it after they were released. I dont bathe them everyday though.

I use shampoo but didn't start using it until little one was over 2 weeks. I found her hair seemed greasy not using anything
