Who got engaged/married right away?

Question

Me and my boyfriend been dating since September. We clicked right away and he been the only support I have had with everything i been facing. He is very understandable  and it feels like we been known each other forever. He has been giving clues as if he wants to propose. 
I know it's too soon but has anyone got stories of their own where you got engaged or married to soon and still going strong?

Personally I feel like getting married so soon is not a good idea. It makes sense that you think you're soulmates (still in honeymoon phase).. I'd advise a long engagement so that you can get to know each other because you don't Want to get married to a stranger cause it just causes problems downthe line.  Ofcourse there are some success stories out there but I'd advise waiting a bit longer

Met my husband in October and married him in April been together for 16 years. He said when we first met he felt like he had found a missing piece of his life that he didn't know he was missing and I honestly felt like I was whole for the first time. We sat in the parking lot of the base club and talked for hours and didn't want to leave to go back to our ships for quarters that morning (we were both in the Navy at the time) we still lose sleep just to talk till dawn sometimes😍 I really believe that everyone has a soulmate out there and when you are lucky enough to find them, you will know!

Not me personally but a close family friend met a woman proposed 6 months in to dating and married 6 months later. I am a strong believer in "love at first sight" when you know you know.

Me and husband met November 2014, went on our first date October 15 2015, And got married February 22 2016. We now have a house together and expecting our first baby in April 2017 ❤
Our families and friends thought we were crazy but we are truly happy. When you know, you know. Was with another guy for 2 years without any feelings of moving forward. Took me a good week to realize my husband was the one.

I guess it depends on someone's definition of "too soon", I met my husband 3 weeks after his divorce was final, we moved in together after 2 months of dating & were engaged 6 months after that, we got married a year & a day after our 1st date. There were some friends & family who were concerned at the speed of things but I was 35 & he was 33 so they let us make our own decisions w/ minimal fuss, our 2 year wedding anniversary is on Nov. 9th & we're expecting a baby girl in Feb. I can't imagine my life w/ out him, my stepson & baby girl

My partner wanted to pop the question like December/January after only been dating for 3months. I said he had to wait and when he got my ring without me knowing I said yes but also said he had to ask my mum and step dad like the old days. It helped him open up to my parents and got him out of his shell. We have been together for 4 years, TTC still after our first child loss back in December 2015, we are also getting married on April 1st 2017.

My husband and I got engaged after 7 months and were married 4.5 months later (at age 22 and 24). We knew each other for 1.5 years before getting married. We've been very happily married for 15 months:)

Not engaged, but my man and I moved in together around 3 weeks. He gave me a key at three weeks, actually, and then I started moving in slowly after that. We started looking/bought a home together about a year later. We're not married yet, but we consider ourselves to be. We celebrated 4 years this past 24th. I feel like you guys should experience more first. Maybe move in together and see how you guys bond that way. Proposing is a whole other level.
