Husband lying to his friends & family

I'm filing for divorce with my husband cause he was too much and abusive and made my life hell.

I'm pregnant with a baby boy and I'm 29+5 along, I'm in the UK.. After flying back to get away from him PLUS even if I did stay in America it would have been illegal as I didn't do my change of status visa in time.

Anyway, so I'm giving birth in the UK and his friends have just messaged me as well as a member of his family asking when I'm flying back as I'm getting closer to my due date. So I told them I'm not going back I'm giving birth here and he knows that and is fine with it , but he is for some reason lying going round telling his friends he sent me Money for a visitor visa (which he did ) as a backup plan for if anything happens with me and the baby like being homeless or god knows what.

I just find it odd how he's making out to people that I'm definitely going back, I never gave him that impression.

What do I do?
