Labor in your back?????

Dominece • Married with three lovely kids 2 boys and a lil princess and another princess on the way 3/3/15
How does that actually feel? I've been having an on and off type pain like someone squeezing but only in my back. I have a doc appt tomorrow but I'm 31 weeks so not sure what is a serious scare or something else. I also took a relaxing bath to try to help and as soon as I got out more came. Thanks in advance for the help ladies

I had back labor with both my babies. Brutal brutal brutal. It's like a knife being put in your back, or something pulling some part of your...so hard to explain but painful, at least for me. Hopefully it's not! Good luck

It was horrible for me! I had preterm contractions that had to be stopped with medication and finally steriods ending in 21 trips to the hospital and a week long stay. Back labor sucks. I used a hot rice bag and my husband massaging it to help fix it but it was intense all the way until the emergency c section at 39 weeks lol. I think I had other factors that made my pain worse than if it had just been back labor but I'm not sure.

Yep, back labor sucks, I had that in the weeks before the baby, and all during delivery,...tightening and pain of the muscles in your lower back, and mine extended to the front and involved my ribs too....above the epidural location :( .....it's not a big deal medically though, my uterus is tilted back and that is why for me....maybe if you know ahead of time that you will have back labor, they will do the epidural higher? Idk, but I'm gonna ask next time ;)
