I'm doing a paper on the insufficient health answers for women trying to get pregnant or having difficultly. I have a had a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy. Me and my husband have been trying for five years. So if you could do the poll for me see I can use it on my paper. If you wish to comment with more information that would be nice. You need to make an option for "No, I have not been pregnant before" or your data set will be inconclusive because you won't be able to say anything about the proportion of women w difficult pregnancies in relation to all women w pregnancies who answered the question. Also, you need an option for "Other" as there are other types of difficulties you haven't listed.

I tried for 18 months to have my son and had 2 chemical pregnancies in those 18 months. March and May were chemicals, July I was 4 weeks pregnant. 
I've now been trying for 9 months and had another chemical/miscarriage in May of this year.

I have only had one stillbirth, at 22 weeks due to a possible chromosomal abnormality. There was a lot of evidence to suggest that this was the case, but all genetic testing came back negative, so I don’t have a ton of answers... 😔

Hi Renee. I have PCOS and I had 3 miscarriages and 1 chemical pregnancy(a very early loss. I used to think it was the same as a blighted ovum but I was recently corrected.)  before my daughter was born. I think the treatment and information I got from the hospitals was horrible. For my third m/c it was over an hour before they even got me a water proof pad to sit on. I asked at least 2 different nurses they didn't ever come back eventually a janitor helped me find one. Another 2 or 3 hours later I get the old up the vag ultra sound but the technician was really squeamish so I got pissed and just put it in myself. Then they had me wait around another hour or 2 before a Dr came in and discharged me but wouldn't even tell me if I was actually miscarrying or not.  This was the Good Sam in San Jose I have no problem bad mouthing them. 
My friend had a miscarriage of her only pregnancy so far a couple of years ago in the San Jose area as well. They told her she was miscarrying then sent her home. She started having a lot of pain and bleeding and went back in got sent home again. It just got worse and worse and so she goes to and E.R. the next day and gets sent home again. Less than an hour later she hemorrhaged and her husband had to call 911.  And it was still at least a day and half before she finally got a D&C.

Have never been pregnant once, miscarriage or not, in 7 years of trying. We know one Fallopian tube is blocked, the other we "guess" is not working. We are in our first IVF cycle and are hoping for a good egg retrieval later this week.
