Question

Can anyone give me their birth story where they were induced? Being induced Friday (hopefully) I'll be 39 weeks. I'm already dialated to a 1cm as of Monday.. just wondering how everything went with you..

hey there ;) I went to the hospital at 8-28-16 ( Sunday night) they started to induce me around 9 pm or 10 pm can't remember and at 4am wich I remember I started getting the pain and waterbroke like around 7 or 8  and I was dilated barely around that time 4cm and by 10 am I was 9.5cm and I was in more pain ..it does worked pretty well ..but I had to get a c section cuz my hips were so close ..the reason I got induced was because my baby never got low she was high ;)

I was induced at 38+4 thanks to GD. Went in 2cm dialated and fully effaced. Started pitocin at 7:30. Broke my water at 9:30 and I was 3cm. Contractions didn't bother me until I started having back labor and got the epidural at 1:30. I could feel it, but it didn't hurt. It's a feeling I can't explain. Napped until 3:30 when the dr came to check me. I was 6cm but my daughters heart rate was dropping fast so we opted for a c section. Turns out her cord was being pinched during my contractions and they were too close together for her to recover between them. She was born healthy and she turns 1 tomorrow!!

I was induced at 38+4 and I had him the following night at 21:36. I had a pessary inserted on the Tuesday at 11:00, I was 1cm dilated. I did lots of walking and had cramps all day and night. I was checked at 11:00 on Wednesday, I was 3cm so they broke my waters. Contractions started thick and fast. I made it to 10cm early evening then he wax delivered by kiwi delivery at 21:36.

I went to the hospital because I was having contractions but my water hadn't broke so when I got there they broke my water and tried to speed things up when that didn't work they gave me the pitocin which made the pain 10 x worse I was trying to walk through the contractions but I couldn't so they got me a bounce ball to bounce on that did not help then I tried getting into the jacuzzi tub they had but the water was to cold so I finally gave in at 4 cm and got the epidural and was able to get some rest and about 5 hours later they came in the room and told me it was time to push I pushed for maybe 30 minutes and finally got to meet my first girl after 2 boys it was awesome.

Hey. I was induced on Halloween due to ICP. I started pitocin at 9:30 and at 11 the doctor broke my water and it was weird and there was so much of it! At 11:30 I got my epidural and it was awesome. I could of handled labor naturally but I didn't want to be in pain. My epidural kicked in around 5 minutes after I got stuck. Then they placed a internal monitor to see my contractions. Then a heart rate monitor on his head, then  the nurse realized I was 10CM. I started pushing at 1:07 and he was out at 1:40 and was taken to nicu because his lungs. He's doing great. I got a 2nd degree tear inside my vagina. I am so sore, it feels like someone kicked me in the vagina. We got to feed him today for the first time
