First Doc Appointment Need Some Help

Had my first doctors appointment an I'm thinking that I'm roughly 8 weeks along but she said that I was 10 weeks. She tried to find the heart beat but couldn't find it. She wants me to go back in for an early ultrasound because I have had a miscarriage before.

But what I'm really nervous about it my throat. It seams like I have strep throat. It is very swollen an they are also spots of white. She did a mouth swap to test for strep but it came back negative. I don't have a fever just swollen glands in my neck and my ears also looked fine. She put off giving me any medicine since it came back negative an I'm still in my first trimester. So she didn't want to harm the baby being that it is so early.

Do any of you ladies know what this could possibly be? I just don't understand how this can't be strep
