Totally opposite birth than I planned/desired

First off let me tell you a quick overview of my desires for my labor/birth ☺️ I had a perfectly normal pregnancy, with no risk factors for any need of interventions and desired to have an all natural vaginal delivery with midwives at a birth center... However our little Katrin and God had other plans. :)
It all started on October 9th at 4:30am when my water broke - I was 38weeks and 1 day - I was at work at the time just finishing up a 12hour night shift (I'm a labor and delivery nurse) and was walking down the hall to a patient’s room. It was somewhat comical when I said to some of my coworkers next to me at the nurses station "um guysssssss, I think my water just broke". Immediately it became an excited frenzy... my coworkers running to get towels, wheelchair, new scrub bottoms etc and zooming me to triage where many more of my coworker buddies with waiting with phones to take pics and laugh and be excited with me. ☺️ At that point I knew my water was most definitely broken and began making calls to my midwives, hubby etc. My carpool buddy and I were allowed to transfer care of our patients to other nurses on our unit and leave early so we headed home. Contractions were coming every few minutes and though not entirely painful, they were definitely uncomfortable and I knew this was it. ☺️
We arrived home safely thanks to my carpool buddy... I got settled in at home and began laboring... laboring... laboring... I tried to rest many times through the night seeing as I had not slept since the day before because I worked all night, but no luck as the contractions were too strong and uncomfortable... so it was breath breath breath... walk, sit, lay down, yoga ball, shower repeat. ☺️ I checked my own cervix multiple times only to find small amounts of cervical change...not as much as I had hoped for after so many hours of painful labor. I labored naturally at home for 28hrs and then went into my birth center where my cervix was checked again and I was 5cm dilated. They stripped my membranes and things began ramping up from there even more... After a few more hours of laboring I decided to get in the birthing tub - this was truly bliss and helped SO incredibly with the pain! It helped my whole body relax in between contractions and just was a huge amazingness (I would highly recommend it to all!!). Alas, this enjoyment did not last long because I asked for my cervix to be checked again to see progress and the midwife felt Katrin's bum at this point, her face dropped and I knew right then and there what had to happen. Katrin was frank breech (feet next to her ears and bum at my cervix). At this point it was lots of quick action because I was 7cm dilated and starting to transition quickly - IV was placed and My hubby drove me 5mins to the nearest hospital where all became fast-paced, bedside ultrasound to identify breech presentation, consents, meds etc and right into the operating room where I was determined to be 10cm dilated and starting to push. This put me at 31hrs of natural hard labor before my emergent c-section. The staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE and cared for me so amazingly well - as an L&D nurse working around this stuff all the time, I was very impressed! Usually I'm on the other side of the blue drape as a nurse, so hearing all the processes carried out so well and observing everything made me feel at peace and totally confident in the care I received which was HUGE! My hubby and I chatted and laughed while awaiting our baby girls arrival. Katrin was born at 10:57am on 10/10 - she started crying loud right away and My hubby and I followed suite. Her cry was the best sound ever! The nurse caring for her knew my desire for quick skin to skin and breastfeeding while on the operating table if possible and she brought Katrin to me and got her skin to skin and breastfeeding not even 5mins after Katrin was born!!!!!!!! I was elated and will forever be grateful for this amazing effort on the nurses part, advocating for my desires as her patient!
From here on out everything has gone smoothly and so well considering I did everything but push baby out naturally and then had massive abdominal surgery!!!! lol Better then I ever imagined or could have asked for! Mamma and baby's full body systems are working well, breastfeeding is going smoothly and wonderfully and our hearts are oh so full of love and gratitude for our healthy little miracle! She is growing like a weed and I LOVE being a mother! 💓
