abdominal/ lower stomach pain

my lower stomach has been hurting and it's been a little hard for me to go #2 because it feels like pressure. i guess it started happening on sunday and has not gone away. i'm starting my third week of birth control and my period was usually supposed to start 2 days ago but my boyfriend and i had really rough sex that night. what could it be?
