Has this happened to anybody else?

So I just had my 38 / 39 week appt . Bc I'm 38+4 and they told me I'm not dilated AT ALL ! That ruined my mood . Has anybody had this happen and then randomly go into labor ?

37w3d and not dilated at all.. Don't want to be induced so I'm pretty bummed. She did reassure me that If I were I could be dilated for days and still go late and thigh I'm not dilated I can dilated over night and go into labor. But I'm sure ill probably end up going late, I'm so shocked I'm not. I'm always on my feet and feeling constant pain and pressure down there.

Saturday I was 38+1 & not dilated at all. Monday I was 38 +3 I was 1cm. Walk & water.
