Everything I say gets criticized

I just text my friend and said I was offered a car seat from people that stay across the street from my baby fathers parents I don't know the people so I said I wanted to ask them to make sure it handnt been in an accident or anything like that. she said I was acting like I'm Beyoncé cause she pretty sure they wouldn't offer something messed up. I honestly couldn't believe she would say that. It seems like no matter what I say or do someone always have an issue with it
