Need to work out more!

Alright ladies, here's my problem. I'm about 2:40, 5 foot 6, and definitely need to start losing some weight. My only issue is that I don't really have the stamina to run very much, or even to exercise very much at any given time. When I do try to do that, I sort of lose momentum and I give up. So, my question for you guys is, do you have any good ideas about how to work out a little bit day to day, so that I can build up my strength before just plain starting out with running and stuff? I started doing squats and lunges everytime I go to the bathroom, and it's actually surprisingly already done a lot for me. But I need to do more LOL
