Here's the scenario:
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and my husband and I have been together 8 years. He's the baby of the family so his siblings are 7-13 years older than we are. One of his sisters has always made rude/snotty comments but I've come to learn that it is who she is... she doesn't only do it to me. However, we were all over at his other sister's house for a birthday party for one of the kids. Snotty sister decided to have some drinks. She has shorter hair and always has. She came up to me and ran her fingers through my really long hair. Of course there were snarls...throughout the day it just happens. She goes "Do you brush your hair!?" I just looked at her dumbfounded. She tried to make it into a joke (I think) and was laughing. Then she goes, "doesn't that shit (referring to my long hair) give you a headache?" Then proceeded to ask me if I take care of my hair. I said no to be a smartass and she goes "yeah I can tell!". Am I overreacting or is that just RUDE? I would NEVER say something like that to anybody.
...drunk or not. I'm still irritated about it and it happened 3 days ago. I even went and got a hair trim because I am so self conscious now...ugh.
