Water birth or?????

Hi ladies I am a FTM just wondering if any of you have had a water birth and if so would you do it again? I am aiming to have a natural birth in the birthing pool but I understand things can change at any given moment. Are they any techniques or specific things you did while birthing in the pool that you found helped with your labour? Any advice would be great 😊

I loved my water birth and can't imaging doing anything else! I had back labor so my labor sucked, but it's very mental. I practiced a lot of mindfulness (hypnobirthing is a type of mindfulness) and that's what got me through, along with a lot of prayer and my STELLAR midwife.
You can't get in the tub until 5 cm, so you have to prepare for how to handle labor until that point because you don't know how long it will be. 
My labor was 28 hours, 15-20 of which were back labor, and I was only in the tub for about 4 hours.

You have instincts in labor that you don't even realise you have until you're in the moment, and you'll do what works for you--moan, dance, lay down, squat, talk, cry, throw up...whatever feels best at that point. Have confidence in yourself! You were literally made to do this.
