Natural birth plan to planned csection.

Jennifer
We've been planning a natural birth at our local birth center since the beginning. Everything had been going perfect, both me and our little guy passed every test with flying colors. At around 34 weeks we found out our little man was still breech and started our journey to get him to flip. We started with different exercises from the spinning babies website as well as the hot and cold techniques. At 36 weeks when he was still not cooperating we started seeing a chiropractor to make sure there wasn't an issue with the way my hips were positioned. Then at 37 weeks, with his head still up in my ribs, we made an appointment with an acupuncturist and scheduled an ecv in case none of the above techniques worked. Well today was our last ditch effort at trying to get this little guy head down by going for the ecv, and he was NOT having it. Wouldn't even budge an inch. After doing research and having talked with our doctor at our last prenatal about our options if he doesn't flip, we decided to go ahead and schedule a csection at my weekly prenatal tomorrow for sometime after 39 weeks. Its crazy how far this is from our original birth plan we're straying but after trying everything we possibly could have, I have faith that our little guy is staying put because he knows something we don't and he's supposed to be that way. I'm doing surprisingly better at handling this change than I thought I would be. Hopefully the rest of this journey goes smoothly. Good luck to all you other ladies out there!
