Is my baby at risk??

Question

My baby is active.... Extremely active! It's constantly kicking and moving and I'm honestly not sure if it sleeps lol. My husband has 2 children from previous relationships and says neither were anywhere near this active. Even my doctors say the baby is a mover

My concern is that the baby is more at risk of having the cord wrap around it's neck - does anyone know if an active baby means the chances of the cord wrapping are increased? I'm 35w tomorrow and I'm really concerned

My baby is super active as well. Don't worry about this, be glad you have a moving baby... As opposed to having limited or no movement.

My oldest was NOT a mover. A poke here and there that was it. He was so wrapped up i ended uo with an emergency csection (they didnt realize until they had me open!). My toddler was a mover... He was not wrapped in the cord.

Basically, movement does not necessarily determine if they are wrapped up or not.

Baby is no more at risk of cord being around the body then that of a less active baby. Its one of those things which just happens

My sons the same way, dr and my specialist are not worried anout the cord wrapping around his neck.
