Any ladies have a false positive for Spina bifida? My anatomy scan came back normal. My midwife explained to me before she would draw my blood that the test has a very high false positive rate, and a lot of women opt out of it due to the unnecessary stress. I did go through with it. The results came back positive. My numbers were 2.95 I believe. She told me not to stress about it, because my chances of my baby having it was 1:132 which she said was extremely low. I didn't do the 2nd scan because I figured if my anatomy scan came back normal then I shouldn't worry, because the blood test are just numbers. I really don't have any gut feelings that he has it. But sometimes it be in the back of my mind. I am now 33w 5d
