What scan is more accurate for due date?

One done at 8 weeks,  12 weeks or just go by lmp? 
8 weeks was November 6th. 12 weeks was November 3rd.(today!) Both the scans were done on really high tech machines. 
Not that it makes a difference lol I'm just curious, I've always told people I was due the 6th because it was in between the 3rd and the 8th which was my LMP date. The only thing with the LMP date is my cycle was fucked up because of birth control so I have no idea when I ovulated and I think it might've been a little early. 
I know that the baby will probably come around the 8th regardless

Go by 12 week scan

I would go by 8 weeks. I first went by my lmp and it was only a week difference which isn't much. But with the 8 weeks you get more of an accurate due date. But then again, it's just an estimate.
