Colic from overeating/gas

Anyone else have a baby with colic? My baby is 2 weeks and is a bit colicky from time to time. At first, It started out happening only at night time and now it's happening more throughout the day. I'm working with a lactation consultant who says my LO is over eating, causing gas in her tummy, which is causing her to be fussy. Anyone else have any experience with this? We are trying new breastfeeding strategies and giving gripe water and gas drops but I still feel so helpless. I just want my baby to be comfortable. What else can I do to ease her discomfort??
