Maturity leave !

So two questions!

1) I had a scheduling manager who doesn't like me, and she makes it well known that she doesn't like me and that's fine. I've been getting 5 days a week again finally! Today I checked my new schedule and it shows that I only have two days for the 13th-19th only two 4 hour shifts. My question is did any of your hours start getting cut when you came closer to your due date? I work in a grocery store. My due date is December 28th.

2) how does maternity leave work? Do I have to apply for it? I need to start putting it obviously. How does that work?
