What do you do for headaches??

I use to be on pills that were maintaining my headaches but they are not safe for baby.... So what do you do to help besides Tylenol since I already took that....

My headaches always turn into migraines and after getting a few my OB prescribed me a couple of medications. One is similar to excedrine migraine, just lower amounts of acetaminophen, aspirin and caffeine. The other is like Tylenol with a sedative and anti nausea. I try my hardest to sleep them off or drink caffeine or eat or whatever, if nothing works I take one of the medicines.

Water, hot shower, ice pack, nap, tea (slight caffeine), peppermint oil on temples until headache starts to decline

Try an eye pillow filled with lavender  and flax. They have them at some yoga studios. They're only about $10 online and they work wonders.

Aromatherapy. You can find special essential oil mixes for migraines on Etsy. I'm wearing a diffuser necklace for mine. Just be sure to research that all oils are safe for baby. Also I frequently listen to binaural beats at the start of my migraines, you can find a lot of free tracks on YouTube. Listen through headphones. Going off Rx meds sucks. x

Tea and honey ! Works and just keep yourself calm and relaxed don't think about it. I usually lay down with a heated cloth on my head and I keep my eyes closed. I really don't like taking anything as I'm 10weeks 4days .

I have always had a lot of headaches, and have also found that Tylenol barely makes a dent in the pain when it's a bad one. I have found that along with the Tylenol, it helps to lie down in a dark room with two ice packs - one underneath my head and one on top.

I usually ask my husband if I can have a few sips of his coffee. It helps!

Go to a chiropractor. They do amazing things for headaches. My daily migraines are down to 1-2 a month and they're nowhere near as severe.
