I got the surprise I didn't want this pregnancy this morning. I told my midwife from the beginning i didn't want to be "surprised" with an induction and up until yesterday everything has been pretty darn perfect this pregnancy. I do have gestational diabetes like I did with my son but this time no meds so we were planning an induction for dec 1 at 40+3... well at my appointment yesterday things took a different turn... my BP was elevated so I got to pee in a jug for 24 hours and got those results this morning... I have pre-eclampsia... so now I'm being induced on Monday... I'm nervous and scared and mentally unprepared... I had wrapped my head around having another 4 weeks... I'm excited to meet my baby and all but just not emotionally ready yet...
