I caught him... but am I wrong?

A few nights ago I was using my boyfriend's phone and he dosed off while I was still on it. He got a message and instead of waking him up I opened it and it was just his friend (male, nothing to worry about) I decided the message wasn't important enough to wake him up over and just before I was going back to what I was originally doing with his phone I caught glimpse of a message from am unsaved number. My curiosity got the best of me and I went through the entire thread. There were a few messages in there that have me worried and could honestly jeopardize our relationship. Can I confront him about this or am I just as wrong for snooping? I am not confrontational but this has broken my trust a bit and I don't know what to do?? PLEASE HELP ME!!

I should add that we have been together for 2 years and he treats me like a queen. This is the first time I've ever had any infidelity concerns.
It was a girl he used to call his best friend when I first met him but I made him but that off quick. They were making plans to meet up. Saying they miss each other. She asked him to bring her lunch one day while she was on break. The worst one was when they talked about a previous experience (sexual) they had with each other. This was all in about a week last month and they haven't exchanged texts or calls since from what I saw so I don't know if he's seen OT heard from her since. I've been at my sister's house mostly this week becAuse she just had surgery and I'll be returning home for good tomorrow. What do I say?? I haven't really said much to him except when I stop by to check on the dogs and get some clothes or shower. I've been somewhAt avoiding him. My sister thinks I should break up with him but I need an opinion from someone unbiased. This is the first time I've had any concerns regarding infidelity with him.

If it's only the first time trust me it will be another. Talk to him about it, don't let it slide. Let him know what he's doing isn't okay regardless to if it's just a text message or what. How would he feel if another man bought you lunch? He'd be mad asf right? So the same thing goes for you, never be afraid to speak up & never settle for less then you deserve

I was in this position with my ex we broke up about two months ago, I was snooping through his phone because I just didn't trust him, I asked my closest girlfriends what I should do because I wanted to confront him but I thought I was in the wrong for snooping and they all said if you have the slightest feeling something isn't right then it's okay for you to look, I confronted him about it, he denied it all and told him I went through his phone and 2 days later he changed his password without telling me, just confront him girl 😋

Look if I was you I would sit him down and talk to him calmly and say I found these messages and I want you to explain to me.
I know it hard but sometimes it might not be as bad as you think.
I wouldn't right off the relationship from a few texts from a few messages.
Tell him you just want to know the truth so you can work through it.
My man has cheated on me over 7 times till I found out and he explained to me he was bi and he had been hiding it from before I meet him.
He just told me he felt like he couldn't tell anyone and he felt like he was a different person when he was doing it and as hard it was I sat down and sorted it.
We are now engaged and he's way happier with me as he feels open about talk to me about anything and I won't judge.
All I'm saying is that couples could work through any thing if you love each other.
And let him know if that if it happens next time to tell you and that you won't give him a second chance over things like that if he hinds it or not let you know.

No guy should ever talk to a girl in a sexual manner if their in a relationship. Trust me I've been there and I forgave and it only made him cheat once again. If your a loyal person and gave him your all I don't think you deserve that. The trust is already broken. Know your self worth.

I've had a similar experience in my relationship. You need to talk to him. Calmly and no irrationally (trust me I went straight to tears and yelling). It's all about delivery. It does not mean the end of your relationship but secret meetings with girls you aren't comfortable with cannot continue. Conversations with girls you aren't comfortable with cannot continue.

Same I made him cut off this girl friend . But I basically talked to him and punished him. At first he didn't want to let her go so I broke up with him then that same day he showed up at my house saying he's sorry and he's never gonna do it again. Basically find a way for him to learn a lesson so he won't do it again. Some guys think if you let them off easy then they can do it again and again. Gotta keep ya man in line sometimes
