Gatorade or pedialyte?

Looks like I'm getting a stomach bug my son had about a week ago. He was vomiting and having diarrhea. So far, I have not vomited. But am getting it out the other end :( (TMI). Do you think Gatorade or pedialyte is the better route?

Activated charcoal has knocked our stomach bugs out immediately. Along with a few days of doubling up on probiotics.

Depends on what your stomach can tolerate honestly. Just got over a stomach bug myself & Gatorade was too hard on my stomach (it would make it cramp up worse than it already was). I couldn't keep much of anything down though, so even drinking pedialyte was tough. I had the best luck with pedialyte popsicles actually! Hope that helps 🙂

When I was dehydrated in the ER the doc said the G2 Gatorade was better then pedialite!

I am 31 wks pregnant with severe hyperemesis and chrohns dosease around the clock the whole way through. I was told by my gastric surgeon that suger can make matters worse. It wont replace your electrolytes either. Your best to buy dyrolyte from the chemist its for diarrhea and will replace what your loosing also help ease it a little. I was drinking lucozade but i was worse for it. I started the dyrolyte which is perfectly safe and it improved a bit.

Gatorade. Taste way better and works just as well.  docs even say it's okay. Way cheaper too.

I'm a huge Gatorade fan. It always makes me feel better. I've had one everyday since being pregnant and I'm getting close to my due date and have had a great pregnancy.

Gatorade has so much sugar. Dont drink those if youre trying to feel better. Pedialite all the way
