What happens after giving birth

So what exactly happens after you give birth?? Do they take the baby and make him/her be in a room with all the other babies or what happens? Lol

At my hospital they immediately hand you the baby. They don't even clean him/her. Studies show that skin to skin for the first hour regulates their heartbeat, temp, and breathing

Depends on a lot of things. If it's a normal delivery and baby has no complications they will be right with you. 
My baby never left my side the whole time I was in hospital.

Skin to skin. Or baby to be cleaned. They weigh the baby measure it. Shots and testing done for hearing and such.

You can request baby not to leave the room.

Depends I had her they weighed her then layed her on my chest and left her with me for a good time then they took her to get her bath and brought her back to me and she stayed the rest of the time

It's a good idea to go to a hospital tour of where you plan to deliver because each hospital is different.

My baby had a bit of trouble and pooped right as she came out. We did skin-to-skin for 10 mins then they took her away for an hour to be checked over.

Even with a csection baby usually stays with you for a bit. Unless there are issues you will be handed baby almost immediately.
