Frantic/Confused 😳😬
Ok guys! Before you say go take a test, I'm already planning on it in one week. I just need some advice to either validate my frantic nerves, or calm them :)
I am on 40 mg of birth control. The pill. I have not missed a day ever and I have been taking it for 6 months.
Last Saturday, October 29.. my husband and I had sex and for the first time, he finished in me. I wasn't very nervous because #1..I am so consistent with taking my birth control #2. The doctors think I have endometriosis which messes with fertility sometimes. And #3. My obgyn doctor even told me having unprotected sex was ok since I'm 99% covered.
Fast forward a few days and I am going into work early and forget to take my pill right at 9. I'm two hours late one day and then 3 the next.
Come Thursday, I take my pill on time. However when I go to the bathroom I notice slight dark red/brown spotting. No cramps, nothing. I typically get spotting when I take it later than 9 a few times in a row and just around this time of the month because I don't have a period every month. Only every three months.. so I think it's normal until I realize it's stopped completely. It just happened the one time when wiping.
I look up pregnancy symptoms (google is the devil) and it says implantation bleeding occurs 6-12 days after conception. It had been 5.
I'm not experiencing any other tell tale signs. I have sore breasts, headaches, and mood swings as side effects of the pill anyways. It's that stupid bleeding I'm worried about. Whether it was my normal spotting/implantation bleeding.
Anyone have any wisdom/thoughts as to which it may be?
