Does anyone else wish their boyfriend dressed differently??

So listen, I love my boyfriend to death and I would never want to change anything about him. I love him just the way he is but sometimes I do wish he'd dress nicely once and a while, he wears the same 3 shirts and has been wearing the same beat up pair of sneakers for 3 years (no joke) now 😂😂😩 it's not a matter of money at all, and if it was I wouldn't say a word, he has plenty of money around and doesn't even spend it. I love fashion personally and men who dress well but obviously I wouldn't trade my boyfriend for the world. I've never said anything to him about it because I don't wanna offend him. Does anyone else feel like this?

I was in your situation before. My hubby and I have been together for 3 years now... I never told him anything about his same 4 shirts he would wear and the same sneakers... I don't think you should tell him. I believe he will be set off in a negative way.

Now I will tell you how I handled this situation. It would bother me that I would be dressed well and he would wear the same shorts over and over so instead I went and bought him a couple of new shirts and 2 new pair of shoes without saying anything. My hubby is a typical lazy guy. Throws on whatever he finds in his closet, he is not into fashion, and does not like to go shopping. He hates the idea itself of putting an outfit together. So, with the new clothes I purchased I started making a habit of putting his outfit of the day out...so when he would wake up and shower he would put it on. It was a win win situation. I didn't bring it up to make him feel bad, I didn't make him think I was forcing him to change his dress code , just simply made it easier for him to put on the outfit I laid out for him. Made it seem all natural... after 8months or so I quietly purchased clothes and shoes and he gained the habit of putting his clothes together on his own...  he's happy and I'm happy.

Quick advice: always let him think it's his idea or his own effort. If he comes to realize that you are pushing him or trying to persuade him into a certain direction HE WILL OPPOSE and that's were it gets ugly. 😣

I know the feeling. So for holidays and special occasions I always buy my bf clothes that are nice and he actually does wear them so you could try that

My boyfriend is a "pretty boy" takes longer to decide what he's going to wear than I do. I wish he could act like a typical guy once in a while and just not care what he throws on 😂 we had to donate tons of his clothing because he had so many, and never wore many of them.

Most men don't really care for clothes all that much. My boyfriend has a good bit of clothes but mostly wears his favorite ones and just recently got new shoes. He still looks good. I agree about buying him stuff for Christmas. Just a couple outfits and some shoes.
