pregnancy?" /> When you became pregnant did your hormones and lack of him being able to understand put a strain on your relationship? 
Do you have any advice for those who may need it?

The only advice I can give you (I figured this out with my relationship) is that he is also going through changes, yes you may be pregnant but he is also becoming a father, his lack of understanding is normal, they aren't suppose to understand pregnancy but we need to understand as well their changes that's the least we could do because we can understand that, it's probably very overwhelming for him (this even goes for men that already have kids). By sitting down and explaining the changes you are feeling within yourself and ask how he is feeling ect. If he thinks it's weird you just let him know you guys really need it.

It's helped my relationship a lot by doing this.

Ill cry at a movie which i never usually do..and he will say awwwww itll be ok..And if i get upset he just tries to calm me down and i tell him i dont know why im so emotional..And he reminds me..your pregnant..its ok.lol..we get a good laugh about it.

Yes. I've heard "you weren't like this when you were pregnant last time" too many times. Therapy helps (I've been going for over a year and my husband joins sometimes) but I have to keep reminding him that hormones are uncontrollable and ppd is going to be inevitable if I don't have more support. He finally got it after a few arguments but I do think men are just completely oblivious to hormones and feelings and all that. Therapy works wonders, even if you go alone. Just from personal experience.
