Really had my hopes up... Short vent

So I'm 35 weeks with my 1st baby and my baby shower was PLANNED for next Saturday however nothing has been done. My mom told me she'd throw the shower and supply every need but wanted someone to go half on the building with her ($200), so I called my dad and he agreed to split the fee and gave my mom the money in SEPTEMBER... When I called her she told me she hadn't saw him and he didn't give her anything. So for the last 2 months I've been stressing talking to her almost everyday trying to find a place big enough to hold both families and she never mentioned once that he gave her the money. Anyways I called her yesterday and told her I didn't even want a baby shower anymore because after all of the drama I do feel up to it anymore. I told her I'll just get the money my dad sent and buy pampers, bottles, and wipes since that's all I don't have. She said "no I'll call your dad and see what he wants me to do with the money or give it back to him". Last but not least she tells me that she was waiting on my husband and I to pay the other half for the building smh this is both of our 1st baby and I was really really excited to have a shower after all the lies and boosting my head up but oh well.
