Adoption?

Has anybody here adopted. We haven't really tried to get pregnant yet. My husband isn't ready, but I think we might start next year. I have PCOS and I think it might be hard to get pregnant. I always said I would love to adopt, but it seems that even that is very complicated sand expensive. I know I would love to adopt internationally, but I also would want to adopt a baby and that doesn't seem possible with an international adoption. Any information people have would be greatly appreciated. I just want to know all my options, love to plan and prepare and this might be the one thing in my life that I'm not in control of!
