Has anyone been on an antibiotic while pregnant?

My ob put me on a anitbiotic, and im 5 wks 6 days pregnant. My Pap came up abnormal. Im not a fan of antibiotics cause they mess up my bowels everytime regardless if i eat or not. Has anyone else had to take anything while pregnant?

Yes, twice now. They prescribe you pregnancy safe stuff. Better to be safe than sorry and risk losing the pregnancy and or making yourself worse by not taking them.

Mine is luckily one dose, which I took eariler this morning. I miscarried last yr, so I'm doing the right things so it won't happen again. I will be 6 wks tomorrow.
