Had a membrane sweep Friday feeling a little discouraged because it didn't work within 48 hours. It will be exactly 48 hours at 10:40 am this morning but I know it didn't work. Did anyone's work after 48 hours ? Need Alittle hope. Feeling like this baby will never come out. Due in 10 days. Please comment your story below.

Had mine done with 3rd baby, so was already loose and 2cm dilated. Mucus plug that night, laboured next morning and birth by lunch. What number baby is it? My doctor says there's more success with subsequent pregnancies rathe4 than ftm.

I had a membrane sweep on Tuesday at 38+1 . It didn't put me into labour. I have another one scheduled for tomorrow at 38+6 and I am really hoping it works.

I had two membrane sweeps and they didn't send me into labor. I know women hate hearing this but honestly, you are still 10 days out and you just can't make your body go into labor if it isn't ready. Baby is still cooking and that's good! No one has ever been pregnant forever, it will happen, I promise.

I had one done and my waters broke 50hours later but labour never came til 12hrs after my water broke.

I had it done twice. First time at 38 weeks and the second time at 39. Nothing happened until the day before 40 weeks so I don't think the sweep really worked for me. It may have helped but it's not what did it.
