My cousin took castor oil to speed up labor and her baby ended up deficating in the womb, swollowed it and was stillborn. 
It was a devistating time for all of us, especially her. 
I would never wish that on anyone so I generally am against the use of castor oil.

Might work but it raises the risk of your baby having a bowel movement while still inside and swallowing some of it which can be a huge deal. It's definitely not without risks, so I'd avoid it.

It depends I've taken it twice this pregnancy and nothing...but my other pregnancies I did it and it worked so idk sometimes it works or you shit your brains out 😂😂😂

They used to give every woman on Labor & Delivery wards castor oil. It was just protocol for everyone to get it. They don't do that anymore, and I'm going to assume there's a reason for it.
