Hmmm?

Why do some women find it necessary to basically rub the way they do things in others faces?
Example; "I went through x amount hours of labor with no epidural😉" Congratulations to you! But there's no need to rub it in?
"I'm breastfeeding my child for x amount of years/months, why aren't you??"
Maybe there's a medical reason? Maybe they literally couldn't? Breastfeeding isn't exactly the easiest thing to do now, is it?
I just don't understand why it seems like every woman is in competition when it comes to the way they go about their pregnancy, the way they birth their child, the way they feed their child, the way they raise their child?
All in all, if the baby is happy and healthy then why is there any necessity to compete?
Unless a woman is harming her child, why is there a need to make her feel little because you do something differently?
Opinions are welcome.
