Anyone else struggling after Mirena?

A year after having my daughter I decided to go on Mirena due to me forgetting to take a pill daily. I had my mirena in for the full 5 years. No side effects, no periods everything was great. I got it removed and 6 months later started to ttc my 2nd child and 1 1/2 years later still nothing. Has anyone else not gotten pregnant right after removal? Does it normally take a long time? Did I leave it in to long? Can anyone shine some light on my situation please?
