how long does your period last after Provera?

On my first cycle of Provera I had a 7 day period. I was spotting on day 7 and then it came to a stop. I figured my period was on the lengthier side because I hadn't had one in almost a year. Well now it's a month later and I'm on cd7 and stiiiiill lightly bleeding. I just thought this time it'd be shorter and less heavy, however this period was extremely heavy and just as long as my last one. Am I just gonna have long periods always on Provera? I've only heard of women having short periods on Provera but of course I'm the unlucky one 🙄
