Yeast infection =missed period?

I have a yeast infection around the time I was supposed to have my period and I have yet to have it I'm a week late could this be why? I did take a pregnancy test it was negative just wondering if anyone else ever had this happen!

I have a thyroid issue also but it has never been an issue for my period. No new changes with my meds or anything. I just find it rather weird that at 25 I just missed my period after having a yeast infection.

I have a thyroid problem so my periods r off completely also if you just started taking different medication that could be why too.
