Has anyone paid off a credit card with another credit card?

Yes I've done that in the past and moved the balance on to a balance transfer offer. (0% interest for x amount of months) 
It works great if you cut up the original card, divide the balance (including transfer fee) by the number of months the interest free offer is. This way you get to pay your balance off interest free.
(Don't close the account just cut up card and don't use it. But keep the account live)

But the worst thing you can do is move the balance .... keep paying the mimimum and keep using the original card. You will just get deeper and deeper into debt.

Do it with a sensible plan and stick to it.
