what to expect at first appointment after D&C

Question

My first appointment post D&C is tomorrow (13 days after the procedure). I have had no bleeding or spotting for about 6 days which has been nice. Just don't know what will happen at this appointment!

Thank you all for your responses!! I do plan to go in with a couple questions but my SO and I have decided next time to actually wait to go in until I'm 11-12 weeks. I went in early last time (notreally realizing it bc I have long cycles) and I feel more stress was put on me then needed (blood work bc she thought maybe my levels weren't rising, 3 US in 10 days on my 6 week scan told me the heartbeat wasn't very high at 112, told me I had a heart shaped uterus when I actually didn't). Stress could of in fact been what made this baby not make it bc I was SO stressed. So for next time we plan to wait it out in hopes I won't be so stressed. She didn't intend to cause me stress and this is their job to keep us informed of everything they can but being as early as I was there wasn't a whole lot they could do if nature was just going to take its course anyway, which it did. Some women I believe early scans are better for but in my case I think it's not. Baby dust to you all!! ❤️❤️

I had my follow up today after my miscarriage one week ago.
I got an internal examination and an ultrasound to check that everything looked ok and everything had passed from my body.
I'd spent this last week actively trying to deal with my miscarriage through lots of talks with my SO and loads of reading about the topic.
I went into my appointment with a list of questions today (mainly regarding the future and ttc/future pregnancies).  
It really helped me to talk with the doctor and to make a plan for moving forward.
We also agreed I'll be scanned early with my next pregnancy, to put my mind at rest as much as possible.

For me at least there was nothing further then a talk about what was or was not found. That's it. Also if I wanted to look into mental health help. More to check on your emotions.

Firstly - I am sorry you are in this position. My first spot was two weeks ago now. It was pretty straight forward. My ob asked how we were going and talked more about miscarriage. He showed the results of the chromosomal testing and answered questions. Questions like when can we try again etc. I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, and was concerned that I would cope if we got that far along again without knowing. So we put a plan in place and he made a note in my file so I can get in to see him earlier and more regularly next time. For me that was a huge relief. 
They may also so a quick scan to make sure that everything is all clear.i hope it goes smoothly for you. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time
