So my sons been a lot crabbier lately and I've noticed that the skin around his penis has been getting red. My husband was doing his diaper and I looked and now it's really red and it has a indent on it.

Okay my son had an issue that was actually on the head of the penis that was normal, was just seeing if I my experience could help. But that looks pretty rough. I'd go get him checked out, and I'd keep diapers off of him for a while/diaper cream that area.

Put some aquaphor or vasaline on it. Don't clean him with any wipes just warm rags until you can get him to the doctor. 
Letting him hang out in the air is also good.
