hospital bag must haves?

Ok girls im getting induced in less than 9 hours. Just wondering what you guys ended up forgetting when you went to the hospital. I feel like im forgetting something but i cant put my finger in what it is.

Not much, I over packed. What did come in handy was women/underwear/ depends. I put them on with a heavy duty pad, with my spray, and tucks. I was ready to never go through, and I felt super secure. It was great! Also pack some disposable plastic sandals so when you take a shower you don't put your feet  where everybody else bleeds/pees. Just things no tells you, other stuff is obvious.

I ended up having to stay a few extra days after delivery because I had an infection. I brought a boppy, comfortable clothes (enough for 2-3 days just in case), a hair brush, toiletries (toothbrush, tooth paste, travel body wash and shampoo), and my phone charger. Pads, mesh underwear, etc was provided by my hospital

Barely used any of my stuff as the hospital provided most of it for us, but I'd recommend the following-

Labour/Me- Lip balm, water bottle with sports top (kept tipping my cup when I had the shakes) night shirt, hair bobbles, flannel to wet wipe your face (sweaty business), going home clothes, cushion to get comfy in the car (stitches 😣)
We took lots for chicken legs but went home 5 hours after he was born so didn't use anything really, just a vest, onesie, hat and muslin to take him home in.

Don't worry if you forget something the hospital will help out. They're well prepared x

I forgot clothes to wear after delivery (I brought a nightgown and robe to labor in but that's it). I also forgot a brush, makeup (I looked like death afterwards and needed foundation bad), and socks and underwear for my husband (oops). I also got sent directly from a prenatal appointment to the hospital for induction and thought I had another 2 weeks to get stuff together.

I wayyyy overpacked. I literally only used: boppy pillow, newborn going home outfit, 2 muslin swaddle blankets, nursing tanks and yoga pants, my going home outfit, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, hair ties, phone charger.

I literally didn't need anything except toothbrush and paste, and maybe 2 pair of comfortable pants and big t shirt, and a coming home outfit for my baby. And maybe body wash and shampoo if you plan on showering at the hospital.

I didn't hardly use anything I packed! I wound up getting a c-section and I lived in the provided hospital gown for 3 days. The amount of people coming in at all hours to check your incision and bleeding amounts,  it's not worth it to bring your own clothes. Besides, I bled through a couple of times and I was glad I wasn't in something nice! They also constantly take your postpartum wrap off and on, so it's easier to just lift up the gown. Don't forget your toilitries, though, cause hospital soap is terrible! Toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, loofah, shampoo/conditioner, makeup, hair brush, and hair ties were essential. I also brought my own flip flops and socks with grips on the bottom. For going home, have something for you and baby! If you wind up in a c-section,  you'll definitely want a dress! Pants, even big stretchy ones, will not be comfortable for a few days! I know the OP has already gone in, but if this can help anyone else, I hope it does!
