how soon is labor?
I'm 39 weeks today. I haven't felt Braxton hicks or any form of contractions my whole pregnancy.
At 37 weeks I was dilated at a 1.
At 38 weeks, I was dilated at a 2 and 20% effaced.
At 38w4d I started feeling a really bad pain below my belly and above my vagina. Hard to describe where it's at, almost feels like a pulled muscle but it hurts super bad anytime I sit down, stand up, roll over, do ANYTHING.
At 38w5d, the prepidil gel was inserted in my cervix to help soften it and start contractions.
I've been losing small pieces of my mucus plug for week now but at 38w6d, I lost a huge piece with some blood in it! And some more today and all through out the day!
Also at 38w6d (day after prepidil gel) I wasn't feeling my baby move so I called the doctor and went in to do a non stress test and my baby only moved once during it but my doctor said everything was fine and sent me home? He asked if I was feeling contractions and I said no, but he said I was having some. Which I can tell now because my belly has been starting to get hard throughout the day.
I was told your baby doesn't move as much when you're about to start labor but I don't like not feeling him move..
This morning I woke up with diarrhea!
I've been walking like crazy I just want to have this baby already. :(
