When nobody was expecting it. Polls consistently showed her winning and most Republicans weren't openly supporting him. I am under the impression that people may have lied on polls or kept quite in fear of being bullied for their choice. Im not asking why you think he won! Im asking why dont you think polls were predicting this and not showing the opposite?

The media lies. We were all telling you this from the get go... we as in "trump supporters" - this is also a huge reason he won, because he is against the media and it's corruption and so is everyone else. The media is biased and always has been. Also - the main reason - is that it isn't cities who have control over an election. It's the silent majority. That's all of your people that don't blast their opinions all over social media or participate in any of the polls.

I think that it's pretty clear that the amount of Americans who are dissatisfied with the way the government works showed up to vote. I think that a lot of people overlooked the colorful (and I'm being nice here with my wording) personality of Trump and voted for the person they felt was going to make a change. I also think that Democrats vastly underestimated the rural vote turnout and relied too much on the voters in cities.
