Birth control!

So I'm going to the doctor's office on Monday and I will be talking to him about birth control. While my doctor will discuss and recommend what he believes to be best (I have hypothyroidism so the medications have to be able to pair or whatever), I would still like opinions of others on the forms of birth control they've tried and side effects that they may have experienced for each specific medication to try and make a decision best for me.
