Any age, I may put some boundaries in place but dating can be perfectly innocent too, I'm not going to outright assume it's anything dodgey. Hell if my five year old wanted to insist they had a gf/bf/partner I'd roll with it, no harm done in that.

Never put a restriction on dating. That whole concept is a bit foreign to me tbh. As long as your kid knows what is safe then I think dating is fine

I'm 15 and my mama let me when I was 14 but she had to know where we were going, what time I was leaving/coming back. And she had to know the guys parents. Now that I'm dating a guy that can drive she has gotten less protective and has given me my space. She also knows she can trust me. That helps alot

I don't have children of my own yet but being a teenager myself, I saw it honestly depends on the child and maturity level. I'm very mature for my age (people are shocked when I tell them how old I am) I had my first kiss at 12 and have only "dated" 3 different people from my freshman year of high school to now. My last boyfriend (who I'm now married to) I lost my virginity to. I was 15 when we met and I lost it at 16. I felt that I was ready and don't regret it at all. I'm now 18 and happily married to the love of my life. On the other hand, I know plenty of girls and guy my age and younger that probably should not have made decisions they have made. For me, it all comes down to trusting your kids and how you feel. I don't think you can put the same rules and limits on two different children. Being young I can say for a fact that kids are going to do what they want regardless of what their parents say. Give them guidance, not judgment and punishments for their actions. It only makes things worse.

I'm 19 and was allowed to have a boyfriend at 16. but my parents were SUPER strict and even when I got engaged a few months before I turned 18. I still wasn't allowed to go on dates. My suggestion for dates would be once your daughter is old enough to drive, or when she knows how. Because that way if something goes wrong she'll have a better chance of getting out of the situation if she can't call for help.

I started dating @ 13, sounds kinda silly lol but we dated for 1 year and a half. We went out to public places together and hung out with each others family, we were allowed to do age appropriate things.
