How soon did you start working out after delivery?

Curious to know when you felt you were able to work out again after delivery?  Is there a recommended timeframe?  Or is it just when you felt up to it?

The recommendation is 4-6 weeks but after my C-section I pressured my doctor into letting me swim and workout at almost 3 weeks pp

I waited 6 weeks before I did an official workout... But I walked/pushed the stroller a mile or two everyday. And house cleaning while baby wearing. That should count as a workout actually....

I think you should have longer time frames in your poll...a lot of people wait 6 weeks until they get cleared by their doctor.

I went on 12 week leave. I could have worked after 2 weeks.
