Did you guys serve food at your baby showers? or do just desert? How did you guys set it up? It's my first time and i want it to be perfect. Do you play a game to past time then open presents? i just need advice

We served food and cake. We all made small talk while waiting for guest everyone ate then we played games for cake and we all left the time passes really quickly

We made little crock pot finger foods and a dessert table. Had a few things set up for guests to do at their own pace like a note for baby, onsie decorating, and the price is right. We did one official game and then opened presents then everyone kinda trickled home after that. 4 hours about.

We did fruits and veggies, chips and dip, pigs in a blanket and chicken salad. Sweets made me wanna barf so we just stuck to food. Played a couple games then opened presents... I think it lasted like three hours.

You can have any type of shower you want! Mine was a fall themed luncheon with no baby decor or games. We had a private party at an Italian restaurant and served appatizers (meat balls and risotto balls), salad, and various pizzas as a buffet style. Guests ate cake while hubby and I opened gifts. That was all. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I'm doing a Christmas themed baby shower and we're going for only dessert type food like Christmas cookies, brownies, cupcakes and a hot cocoa bar. I think I'll put some fruits out there as well though.
