How many of you girls, have used a douche?

My boyfriend has asked me about about douching but every time I look online to find out more information about it, it tells me not too. I'm just curious if anyone of you have used or tried douching, I would appreciate to hear what you have to say. Or if you know any other ideas than douching, I would love to hear about it. 
I usually don't asked about this stuff but I need some advice about this.

I have, I don't do it often by any means, but sometimes I'd use it after my period to rid the old blood.
I've never had a problem.

The risk you run is screwing with your PH levels. 
However if you say you've already got an odd smell, it's possible you already have a PH imbalance and douching could help return it to normal.

It's definitely not suggested as an every day thing.

It's really up to you. If there's already a smell, I don't think you lose anything from trying it.
