why is so many people quick to judge teen TTC?
I'm 17 and have been TTC for over a year. Over that year, I have realized that some people are just so cruel to the idea of a teenager wanting a baby. But, why? No teenager has to explain themselves to someone else on why they want to have a baby. Most teenagers nowadays already graduated high school, have there own places to live, jobs, married and are ready for that chapter of life to begin at the ages of 17 or younger or a little older! All these older moms and older women are appalued by the idea that a young mother can be a good mother. Some people just want kids. And in my cases, some people won't kids because of the high possibility they will not have kids. I just think it's ridiculous that older women judge us because we are younger and want a baby. That we have no idea what it's like because we are teenagers. But yet, I'm pretty sure for the older women that have there first child are the same exact way.
