Implanon Birth Control

Does anyone have the implant in their arm? If so can you share some of your experiences with it. Like how bad it hurt to get it and how it effected your periods/ hormones/ etc. I have been taking the pill for over 2 years now and I'm just to busy to always take it at the same exact time everyday and my doctor was against the shot when I suggested it because she said it's really bad about making you gain weight so I'm considering getting the implanon and I'm kinda nervous so anything helps 😁 thanks in advance!! ❤️
